Fantasy Stages and Dangerous Places

Busy weekend. Far too busy–in a good way–to be posting, really. Took the family to see a high school stage production of The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. It was enjoyable, both to see how the book was adapted for the stage, and also how the young actors would handle the material. Verdict, respectively: pretty well, and the usual mixed bag, though without a single standout or poor performance.

Watched the last three quarters of Supe 40.

All-day music workshop at a nearby parish. Keynote presenter: Choir lofts are dangerous places. His topic, shared with another priest from the Kansas side was “Praying the Liturgy.” So yes, choir lofts are challenging places in which to pray the Mass.

Let’s discuss a bit of that, if you care to do so.
