A parishioner sent me some images from the Fairbanks Ice Festival. There is no truth to the rumor that traditionalists celebrated indult Masses within this impressive edifice.
I was struck by this next image because of my love of paleontology, not any editorial comment on a possible Missal in use within the above structure.

Goodness these are amazing!!!!!!!
We had our own offshore ice display this spring when some icebergs from Antarctica appeared not too far from the New Zealand coast.

Beautiful ice art! Boston holds an ice sculpture festival of sorts as part of the “First Night” festivities. Not sure what will transpire this year. We are experiencing abnornally high temperatures for this time of year. Today for example…in the 50′s. My husband was outside yesterday taking pictures of the pansies *still in bloom* in front of our house, amid the Christmas decorations! Very weird.
