Carnival of Space #42

Chris Lintott hosts the 42nd Carnival this week, pointing out my “Tethys as Jan Brady” post along with Emily’s great piece on Saturn’s moons on the planetary society’s blog. Emily even has poor Tethys in Jan’s screen position in her montage of Cassini images.

Universe Today also has previous carnivals linked.

Anybody notice the eclipse last night? Nobody in my household was up to going outside, so we caught glimpses from the windows every now and then.

Thanks for the heads-up on the eclipse, Todd (sorry, couldn’t resist that one!).

Was out to eat and along with servers and patrons at the restaurant we made several trips outdoors to watch the progress. VERY clear night here in Concord, MA – perfect for viewing!

This latest eclipse wasn’t for us downunder…. but we had our very own dramatic one August 28 last year.
Hope you are all feeling better soon. I arrive in Europe mid-April… I hope all these nasty winter northern hemisphere bugs have died a natural death by then!!!
