MLB pitcher and author Jim Bouton is disappointed about the new Yankee Stadium. I like his metaphor. I may be a Yankee-hater, but I like the metaphor:

Well, at least don’t tell Cardinal Egan. I’m worried he might consider it now that he’s restored fiscal austerity to the archdiocese.
BTW, having teared up watching the ceremony before the last game at Yankee Stadium, I must now reconsider ever having you back on “Catholic Radio 2.0!” now that you’ve revealed your animosity towards pinstripes. Then again, I love my father in spite of his being a lifelong Red Sox fan.
