Post-Campaign Cutlery

Governor Palin didn’t prep for her key interview with Ms Couric, but the Republicans look to prep for 2012. 1,461 days till the next presidential election, and maybe a bit more than two years before the primary cycle starts rolling.

Do you think the GOP looks to carve away the religious conservatives?

Hmmm… I am not sure that they want to carve away conservatives. I do think that in retrospect, the choice of conservative will matter.

Short term tactical victory spelled out long term strategic failure with the choice of Palin.

Which is not any commentary about her specifically, but about how it played out.

The GOP needs to find itself again and revisit what conservative truly means.
