
31. The rites should be celebrated in the places appropriate to then as indicated in the ritual. Consideration should be given to special needs that arise insecondary stations of mission territories.
The Third World was very much in the minds of those who drew up this rite. As we continue posting for the next several months on RCIA, keep in mind that affluent Europe and America did not form the baseline for thought in these rites.
Obviously the major rites are envisioned to take place in a church. But we’ll have some discussion with the minor rites when we get to that discussion.
