An interesting news note at UCA about the first Eastern Catholic liturgy celebrated in an inculturated Cantonese style. Perhaps a few of our Eastern Christian friends would care to comment. Congregational music was apparently no problem, according to a visiting Australian priest from the Ukrainian Eparchy of Melbourne. Father Olexander Kenez:
I thought only the two cantors would sing at the Mass, but everybody sang and prayed so naturally as if they have joined this liturgy for a thousand years.
