November Displays

A quick image of our parish’s narthex. Lit Easter Candle at the display of the book of the dead. Does your parish have people sign names into a book in November? One parish I heard about had an entire wall set up for people to bring photos of their deceased loved ones.

One Response to November Displays

  1. Jimmy Mac says:

My parish has a scroll with 286 names on it of people from the parish who died in the AIDS epidemic of the 1980s. The scroll stopped because the calligraphist who inscribed the names also died.

We give the scroll prominent display each All Souls Day.
