Private Meeting

Some of the NCRep commentariat seems disturbed that the LCWR-Archbishop Sartain meet-up was locked down and closed to the public.

Before this became something of public interest, this was an ecclesial matter between the sisters’ leadership and the CDF + appointed bishops. In a way it’s not my business, but I do have an interest on behalf of many friends who have been injured and distracted by the investigation and its curious playing out.

I see the importance of part of this conversation between the Seattle archbishop and the women remaining privileged and private. Whose idea was the security? It could have been requested by either party, or both. Their choice. Why not trust it?

“Distracted” I can see. “Injured?” Give me a break.

  2. Todd says:

I report what I’ve heard. If you are a woman religious, you have your own input.
