Pakistan: One Nation, One Blood

A hopeful story from Pakistan, at the location where over one-hundred Pakistanis died last Sunday in an attack outside a Christian church.

Mohammad Jibran Nasir, organized human chain outside St Anthony’s Church in Lahore. He said:

Well the terrorists showed us what they do on Sundays. Here we are showing them what we do on Sundays. We unite.

I see no reason why our politicians and our leaders should not come out of their houses, leave the luxury of their secure homes and stand in solidarity with the common man.

An interesting challenge to politicians. It’s not unheard-of for places of religion to be attacked in the US. Would any of our politicians be willing to spend a Friday or Saturday to suggest they are part of one nation, one blood?
