GMD 110: Evangelization at Special Times

Opportunity may present itself without our even heading for the streets. Sometimes people come to the Church. Are we ready to evangelize, or are we too tired?

This continues a discussion on the GMD chapter (104-116) covering goal number two, enlivening the people of God. In this section bishops strategize on inviting young families with young children, young adults in parishes and on campus (yay us!), youth ministry, and the involvement of whole families in service to others.

These strategies seems very open-ended. In campus ministry there are countless ways to evangelize. Our challenge at the student center is discerning what works most fruitfully.

The same is true in any of these other areas. I would also say the sacramental moments of marriage and baptism of infants.
