One Response to On Missouri Camo

  1. Joe Mcmahon says:

In reviewing some St. Louis history, I am amazed to learn the 1947 date of Archbishop Joseph Ritter’s desegregation of Catholic schools and hospitals. Is it fair to contrast current Archbishop Robert Carlson with him? Because Catholic Sensibility may not accept links within comments, let me point to three places on the web:
    1) In the house organ StLouisReview.com the archbishop’s column is titled Before the Cross. Scroll down past his discourse on the Synod and you will find his schedule, perhaps an indication of the way he is pastor.
    2) An “unabashedly Catholic” author of stlouiscatholic.blogspot.com himself takes apart a comparison of the two archbishops.
    3) Back to StLouisReview, please note the measured words of Fr. Art Cavitt, guest column “A city smoulders.
