It’s In The Bag

True story from my pastor.

In one of his previous assignments, they used to have hosts at the church door. People would use tongs to place hosts into the container in which they would be brought to the altar. One parishioner, however, had another idea. He brought a zip-top bag. During the words of consecration, he held up the baggie with the hosts and waved it in the direction of tha altar.

He wanted to bring hosts to some sick people and he didn’t want to bother anyone for a pyx or anything.
