Not a new order, but young people trained in Lectio Divina. Over a hundred young people were trained at CELAM’s Pastoral Biblical Center. The goal is the formation of 10,000 such missionaries. (CELAM is the Latin American Bishops’ Conference.)
Inspiration for the project came from Benedict XVI’s letter for World Youth Day on Palm Sunday of this year: “I urge you to become familiar with the Bible, and to have it at hand so that it can be your compass pointing out the road to follow.”
After scouring the net I’ve found nothing but reproductions of the Zenit article. Anybody know anything more substantial about it?
