However, do you think we should take a look at the 1969 document on translating, Comme Le Prevoit first?
Its prescriptions have been overruled by the fifth instruction “For the Orderly Implementation of the Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy of the Second Vatican Council,” Liturgiam Authenticam. But it might contain important insights to the much-maligned early incarnations of the Roman Rite in English
As I mentioned before, I think we’ll wait on the GIRM and look at the 2000 edition. Just let me know.
