Homebody

Actually, that’s me today. The female offpsring unit is home with a sore throat and earache and heading to the doctor–despite protests–tomorrow morning. The female spouse unit is still recovering from last week’s illness and a major adjustment to her medication routine. The male spouse unit? I have recycling, garbage, laundry, and dishes to do, and taxes to start, so I took the day off to catch up on household things. I have some baking to do later this afternoon, once the kitchen gets under control.

Later tonight I’ll be back at the parish to sort out rubber bands and string from the parish palm offerings and get ready for Wednesday.

Just so you know, I won’t be giving up blogging for Lent. But I know many readers will be. In case I don’t connect with you till Easter, have a blessed Lent. Go to church a lot, fast, pray, read the Bible, give up candy, empty your pockets for the poor–stuff like that. Let’s agree to keep each other in prayer. I don’t know about almost all of you, but I know I need it.
