This was the first year I had a flu shot. I don’t know if the past four days would have been worse without it. Tonight is the first time since Saturday I’ve felt close to normal. My wife is on her second round of the flu in as many weeks, and Brittany has a double ear infection plus bronchitis.
Once I get back to the parish, probably tomorrow, I’ll be catching up on getting ready for Sunday and getting liturgical schedules out–they’re mostly completed from Sunday, but on hold.
I may blog lightly later tonight. I have a few armchair liturgist items for consideration. But I’m holding off on serious stuff till next week. My head still feels too stuffed to post on DMC or wedding readings.
Stay healthy, if you can.
Todd-sorry you caught some of the junk going around KC – must have been the wireless Saturday!
Great meeting you, and putting a personality with the words.
Bob
Bob, thanks again for the welcome Saturday. Hopefully your clergy are well.
I just heard on NPR that this year’s flu shot has been about 50% effective. My wife and daughter began their second strain of flu just as mine came to full flower. I’m batting along with the regular odds, it seems.
