Check out the 51st Carnival of Space. I had every intention of contributing regularly, but unfortunately, my astronomy hobby these days consists of looking at a daily pretty picture here and keeping up with just a spot of reading.
I’ve noticed Ames and Des Moines each have active astronomy clubs, so when the relocation is complete, I hope to join those Iowa efforts.
I leave my interested astronomy readers with Cassini‘s comparison of Dione. First, the spacecraft imaging system catches a normal sunlit view from above the moon’s northern hemisphere:
Just a few minutes later, a longer exposure illustrates Saturn-shine on the night side of Dione:
