End of an Era

Even without a departure from my parish, today would be a bittersweet day. My daughter finished her three years in the parish children’s choir. It was the end of the fifth year of the first new choir I founded at STM. I’ve been through two whole cycles of kids. It’s been a good year with a highlight of leading prayer at the cathedral’s Stations of the Cross. My friend Cheryl has been a delight to work with these past four years. (She missed year one on maternity leave.)

Brittany and the four other fifth graders served as psalmists today.
