Lectionary Statistics Trivia

Quiz yourself, then check the answers on Fr. Felix Just’s Lectionary statistics page. All answers are for the Sunday and Daily combined Lectionary:

Which Gospel is represented with the largest number of verses in the Lectionary?

Between Romans and 1 Corinthians, which letter has more verses read in the Lectionary?

Which New Testament book (Gospel or otherwise) has 100% of its texts in the Lectionary?

Which book has more verses in the Lectionary: Genesis or Isaiah?

Isaiah is the hands-down winner for most verses of a prophetic book in the Lectionary. Name the order of number of verses for Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel.

Which Old Testament book is not represented at all in the Lectionary: 1 Chronicles, Song of Songs, Lamentations, or Habbakuk?

Remember, take a stab at answering first, then check your analysis/best guess. Come back with your observations in the comboxes.
