RCIA 155-156: Dismissal & Eucharist

img_6803

These last sections wrap up the celebration of the First Scrutiny. There is no real difference from other dismissal rituals that conclude the other rites we’ve seen (RCIA 67, 116, 136) or the prescriptions for the celebration of the Eucharist that follows (RCIA 68, 117, 137)

Looking ahead in this series on the rites, we’ll look at the presentation rituals for the Creed and the Lord’s Prayer. I’ll skim over the second and third scrutinies (RCIA 164-177) and in about a week or two, we’ll get to the initiation rituals for the Easter Vigil.
