These “General Intercessions and Litanies” are for “a liturgy of the word or at Mass.” The rubric of OCF 401 also indicates they may be “adapted according to the circumstances.”
I won’t print out all of them here for you. Each includes an introductory sentence (usually just one and at most two!) for the presider.
The first three are of the traditional format of prayers of the faithful. The first set includes particular intentions for a deacon, a bishop or priest, and for mourners.
Number four is in the pattern of a litany: seven invocations of Christ, such as “Risen Lord, pattern of our life for ever;” followed by the acclamation “Lord have mercy.”
Numbers 5 gives petitions for “a baptized child.” Number six is another litany invoking Christ’s actions. (Such as “You became a little child for our sake, sharing our human life. To you we pray: R. Bless us and keep us, O Lord.”) Number seven returns to the more traditional format of petition, and can be used for either a baptized or an unbaptized child.
