Some Site Navigation

I just wanted to let you readers know I’ve been making progress on updating the pages associated with this blog.

At the top of the main page, you’ll see two titles after “home.” They are:

The first is all linked up, though I foresee adding readings in the months and years ahead. What is there now includes links to all Catholic Sensibility posts and discussions on all the readings of the wedding lectionary.

The second is about half-finished. A reader requested a more useful organization of the RCIA material some time ago. On the RCIA page, I will sort the sections of the document and link to all the posts covering it. As of tonight, I have everything from Mystagogy (RCIA 244) on forward through the parts covering children, people in danger of death, people in extraordinary circumstances, plus the appendices, including the various combined rites for the baptized and the unbaptized.

I plan to gradually include other pages with convenient formats for the funeral rites, pastoral care of the sick, and probably the main Vatican II documents. If you want to suggest some site organization, feel free. I may not act on your suggestion in a very timely way, but I take every serious suggestion … well … seriously. There are well over six thousand posts here and I think we’ve reached the point where the search function and category sorting isn’t always useful.
