Spanish Patronal Feasts for the US

Some liturgy news from the USCCB gathering: prayers for twenty patronal feasts will be included in the forthcoming Spanish-language Roman Missal translation for the US. The vote was 185-1. (I wonder who the liturgical scrooge was.)

Latin America patron Saint Rose of Lima, right, too.

We’re still not sure which Spanish version will be approved for US use. But Rose is in.
