    Here are some typical colloquial Honduran Spanish words that you might like:

    macanudo – fantastic

    cheque – ok

    puchica – a word used to express almost anything – sometimes like “yeah”.

    Be careful how you use puchica – some people think it’s related to an off-color word.

    And, then there are food items, like

    baleadas – large flour tortillas filled with refried beans, crema (a type of cream/butter), cheese (hard white cheese), and what ever else you want: huevos (eggs), aguacate (avocado), pollo (chicken), and more!
