A Compassionate Standard For Others?

When I read Fr Groeschel’s comment about ordained sex predators:

And I’m inclined to think, on their first offense, they should not go to jail because their intention was not committing a crime.

… I was thinking of other missed opportunities of mercy. Women ordained to the Catholic priesthood for the first time: maybe they shouldn’t be excommunicated.

    If you read the interview, it’s frightening how he seems to blame adolescent men for seducing priests. And he is a psychologist!

      The National Catholic Register removed the interview from its website and apologized and noted that they had released it “without our usual screening and oversight” and that they are asking Father Groeschel for clarification.
