Offending Jesus
I love when students tweak the administrative establishments in their schools. Take this young man dressing up as Jesus, who got an initial thumbs-down for being possibly “offensive.”
I suppose non-Christians would blanch at the Lord, complete with crown of thorns, walking the hallways. But it seems that more Christians would have a problem with a black Jesus.
Those school officials, I wonder … Did they realize that those likely offended would be racists? And maybe that was okay.
That dark-skinned Jesus above: when do you think this was painted? And what might that say about race in America?
