The NCAA is feeling threatened by student-athletes unionizing. Good.
No doubt, lawyers will be looking for a cut of the NCAA billions. I hope the student-athletes don’t allow themselves to be pushed around. The NCAA and member universities and colleges have reaped benefits at the expense of young adults with far too few consequences or responsibilities for too long.
Anything that helps restore a more competitive balance, especially in the big-money sports would be a plus.
