There is one awesomely wicked storm pouring down on poor Omaha tonight. The College World Series is on one end of town and a friend of mine texted me from being huddled under the concourse roof with her family. On the other end of town a handful of my classmates were watching Shakespeare in the Park. You want to guess what production? C’mon, guess it …
I went out for a walk with friends after dinner tonight. I’m glad I stayed close to home. I texted my wife it was green overhead, but I think it was just a glint of setting sun angled under the clouds. The lightning was continuous–has been for nearly a half-hour.
I’m mostly caught up in my reading. I have a paper due Wednesday I should be considering. I think I will hit up this marvelous museum tomorrow morning. It’s about a five-minute walk from my dorm. My wife and I visited here on our first anniversary many years ago.
