I haven’t posted much on the Premier League lately. My Saturdays have been quite busy. I did catch the Swansea/Crystal Palace match on delay yesterday afternoon. My internet connection wasn’t terribly happy, so about the time the game drifted into a coma, I couldn’t get more than twenty, thirty seconds of action before the nbc site froze up on me. Eventually, I skipped to the end and took my disappointment, a 1-1 draw. I wish the Swans would really take it to one of these teams below them in the table. Last week they showed some late life when manager Garry Monk put out Bafetimbi Gomis and another new guy, Barrow, with Wilfried Bony.
Later last night, while the young miss and her mom were enjoying Elf on the living room screen, I was plugged in to the Leicester vs QPR match, which, for two of the three bottom-dwellers, was a very thrilling contest.
We’ll see what pops up on the nbc site tonight when I finish up from Mass. I have most of the day off tomorrow–my wife has a medical procedure later in the morning. Parish penance service tomorrow night. I won’t have to confess being tempted to abandon my EPL team. Far from it, I’m still quite hopeful for a good year.
