Holy Week Open Thread

cropped-cs-holy-week-header.jpgThe Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of Holy Week are often the respite before Triduum. But God is as likely to move in our hearts if we are ready these days.

My parish has a penance liturgy on Monday. The usual adoration and confessions will take place Tuesday. Music rehearsals on Wednesday. Not too busy.

For you readers, what are your plans for the next three days, before the Three Days? Any great experiences these last few days of Lent?

This week for me looks a lot like yours, sans the communal penance service.

Added Morning Prayer before the daily Mass, running Triduum practices, and a whole lot of church cleaning! The parochial school sharply reduces the number the number of extracurricular activities, so on the outside it looks quieter around here. Would like to think that my people are using the time for additional prayer…
