More Adventures in Cardiology

Heart Institute at UW Medical CenterKids grow up but heart conditions remain. We’re off to the University of Washington in a bit for the young miss and her annual check-up.

Iowa’s four-hour drive to Kansas City has been replaced by a ferry trip across Puget Sound, and pediatric specialists are now doctors for adults.

Over the years, I’ve posted minimally on this stuff. On one hand, it’s myob for lurkers, but on the other, prayers for my daughter are always welcome.

A day like today involves taking a few deep breaths, pausing for thought, some prayers of gratitude. And that’s just me.
