My singers like to hit the road for musical events. The archdiocesan NPM chapter hosted parishes at a Seattle parish last week. Our two pieces are here. Hopefully the social media link is working.
One of my people pointed out that despite being the farthest travelled group (again) we had as many participants as the host parish (who were quite excellent with the balanced group). I had one bass, one tenor, three excellent altos, and twelve sopranos. Good thing we trotted out my SAB arrangement of the William Boyce chestnut.
I feel grateful for the commitment of my friends in music.
Less grateful for links not working. Take my word for it: the Holy Trinity Parish music ministry did great.
Nope, the link isn’t working. It is pointing to https://www.facebook.com/khaye.fernandez.9/posts/10157155399178649?notif_id=1574495102950603¬if_t=tagged_with_story
and when followed it says “Sorry, this content isn’t available at the moment. The link you followed may have expired, or the Page may only be visible to an audience that you aren’t in.”
My guess is that the person who shared it initially didn’t make it public. Instead they’ve set it so that people in choir, and perhaps their friends, can see it.
