Conjunction Malfunction

The Conjunction of 2020 has been on my calendar for years. When I moved to Minnesota, I thought I’d have a better chance of clear skies. As I mentioned on social media, alas, it’s cloudy where I am, where I last lived, and even where I was born and first used a telescope.

A truly geeky webpage on the Jupiter-Saturn encounters is here. It is difficult to predict to the 76th century, but I wouldn’t want to miss a planetary occultation:
