Fratelli Tutti 128: A Heart Open

Today, a new chapter, the fourth, “A HEART OPEN TO THE WHOLE WORLD.”

128. If the conviction that all human beings are brothers and sisters is not to remain an abstract idea but to find concrete embodiment, then numerous related issues emerge, forcing us to see things in a new light and to develop new responses.

Over the next twenty-five paragraphs, these issues are Borders and their Limits (129-132), Reciprocal Gifts (133-141), Local and Universal (tensions thereof, 142-153). Pope Francis wioll give us his Third World perspective on all this, lensed through Catholic theology.
