A favorite through two childhoods–my own and that of the young miss–renovated a whole section of play. No more beauty contests. It looks like the amounts players are given and taken are mostly the same. $45 has been rounded up.
I don’t foresee acquiring another edition of the game. The young miss still has a mid-00s version in her closet I think. The one with the updated moneybag piece that she liked. There was also the new cat, an addition lobbied I’m sure by felines of the animal kingdom to balance out the long presence of that dog of a piece. (My sister’s favorite.)
