What the Future Holds …

… on Catholic Sensibility includes another lengthy project of posting and commentary on the post-conciliar liturgy documents. Now that the end of the Vatican II documents is in sight (only 27 more posts on Ad Gentes) it’s time to look ahead to the next task.

Neil can tell you that I’ve cluttered up the “Manage Posts” page with dozens of proto-essays on the first two instructions on implementing Sacrosanctum Concilium and a series on 1967’s Musicam Sacram, currently the darling of the reform2 crew.

I don’t see the need to skip over any document, so barring some unforeseen retirement from the bloggerhood, get ready for a condensation of forty-plus years of post-conciliar liturgy into the next several months.

Heading into the project, anybody have any suggestions as to how to handle the upcoming discussions? Improvements to be made over the Vatican II series?
