Light Posting on the Docs

Heading for an out-of-town meeting today, so I may not get to the series on GIRM or the GDC. Posting on these might be fairly light the next week or so.

Rehearsals are going well, but it takes time getting the whole show ready to run beginning to end. Good news is that we’ve done it without a big hitch the last two nights. Unfortunately, we didn’t start till forty minutes in last night. I don’t like the delay, but we tried to go with a full cosmetics and costume thing with lighting. The cynic in me thinks we’ve got the usual subpar church lighting, so what does it matter?

We finally had the whole band for Sunday’s practice and we get it again tonight. Everything’s been tweaked as much as it needs to be.

I may post a few more pictures this week. But time is of the essence, and I do have my day job to look after. One of my staff colleagues totaled his car on the way to vacation last week. Don’t want to repeat that effort as temps plunge to winter levels here in Iowa. Time to get rolling.
