Brits Get “Cheap But Worthy”

Clerical Whispers and PrayTell report on interim measures to get that MR3 out there in September in England and Wales. While the Irish priests are talking boycott, their English and Welsh brothers are being told to pony up twice. Use an interim missal in the Fall. Then buy the real thing for Advent.

If some time traveler told me about all this mess a few years ago, I would not have believed a word of it could come to pass.

As for the Brits, my suggestion is to bypass the purchase, put a nice cloth or leather cover on a three-ring binder, and make-do.

  1. John Drake says:

“If some time traveler told me about all this mess a few years ago, I would not have believed a word of it could come to pass.”

Not a few Catholics felt the same way by the mid-1970s.
